There are many reasons to chose an agent to represent you in a protest hearing. And there are many agents. Most specialize in commercial property appeals and their fees may be a combination of a flat fee plus a contingency fee if they are successful. Most will not accept residential property... or if they do, it is to get the commercial business.

Our services are similar except we will accept residential property!

If your property protest is one of a complex, commercial or even residential nature, consider us. We have found that these types of protests presented by an agent of the owner are more likely to receive a favorable decision.

Your responsiblities are:

  1. Execute the Agent and Owner Agreement (pdf file).
  2. Pay our flat fee and when we are successful, pay our success fee.

We will :

  1. File the protest in a timely manner.
  2. Ask you to send us any photos/documents necessary for the hearing
  3. Conduct Informal hearings with the appraisal district (optional).
  4. Request and obtain evidence the appraisal district is going to use in the ARB hearing.
  5. We will try to contact you via phone or fax if the evidence is not favorable. It may be late at night!
  6. Appear at the ARB Hearing and present the evidence.
